Westchester County has an intricate and expansive system of parks that are meant to accommodate all manner of outdoor activities, camping included. Two of the most popular parks for recreation vehicles are Croton Point Park and Ward Pound Ridge, both of which offer sites with a range of hook-ups, with varying daily and weekly rates.

In addition to these things, there are many American Revolutionary War sites that are easily accessible from many of the camp grounds within the county. It makes for an excellent Fourth of July weekend of RV camping Westchester County to make an itinerary of the sites from the Revolutionary War, such as Thomas Paine's Cottage and Patriots park, before heading back to the campsite to BBQ some hamburgers and watch one of the County's fireworks displays.
