All You Need In Camping Gear
from:When considering going on a camping trip, there are a lot of items one must think of. Especially if you are new to the camping scene there is a lot more than one would think. To start with, the camping gear one needs is much more than some tent and sleeping bag. Firstly, the type and size of tent is very important depending on how many people are going and how comfortable you plan on being while camping. Although we all know that ordinarily when a tent says it's a four man that usually means that at best it will fit three people comfortably, and that is without inflatable mattresses and very little luggage. The number that the tents give is for extreme backpackers who plan on sleeping cosily inside the tent.
Another important item of camping gear is the sleeping bag. It is not sufficient to take just any bag when camping. It is important to know the weather conditions of the campsite and to take the necessary precautions to keep yourself warm while sleeping. However, because many campers may be carrying their luggage on their backs it is also important that the bag is not too bulky and awkward to carry. There are compromises and these can be found in stores. Watching out for the temperature of the bag and the size is probably the most important. To get the best in camping gear is not always cheap but it also does not have to bust a hole in your wallet. It is possible to find good quality camping gear at a reasonable price.
Another item of camping gear one needs to take into consideration if camping over a few days is a camping stove. These can be bought in most outdoor stores and again, they do not have to be big and bulky to serve their purpose. Small stoves can be found that only require some oil to light up and travel size pots can fit on top.
There is also specific camping gear that is better suited to different types of campers. For example, those camping with children, especially young children, will have to take a lot more into consideration than those travelling alone or in a group of peers. Certain precautions need to be taken by all campers but when there are children, there is a lot more to worry about. There is suitable camping gear for families however. Family size tents are available and very comfortable.
So no matter who the camper is, old or young, travelling alone or in a group, there is camping gear available for. It is generally easy to use and set up which is very important for those who don't want to spend all day building a tent.
